Watercolor Workshop Sunbaked Sunflowers, Level 1
Discover the gentle beauty of watercolor through the warmth of sunflowers. This workshop introduces two key techniques—negative painting to create depth and lifting to reveal soft highlights. Step-by-step instruction supports students in developing confidence while creating a luminous sunflower painting. All supplies are provided. This class is designed for those with no previous painting experience and minimal drawing skills, but is enjoyable for all levels.

Watercolor Mushroom Bokeh, Level 2
This workshop focuses on building a painting of a whimsical mushroom. Along with previously explored skills, two new techniques will be examined—bokeh, for creating diffused, atmospheric backgrounds, and oil pastel resist, for adding textures and masking details. Instruction supports developing artists in deepening their watercolor practice while completing a mushroom painting. All supplies are provided. This workshop is well-suited for secondary or intermediate students.

Watercolor Birch Grove Workshop, Level 2
By incorporating both familiar methods and new techniques, you will create this serene winter scene. Specifically, this workshop will explore the use of masking, in which no white will be used except the color of the paper. In addition, the use of iridescent pigment will add that perfect touch of sparkle to elevate the scene. This workshop is suggested for secondary or intermediate students.
Watercolor Pumpkin Workshop, Level 1
In this workshop, you will learn to paint a moody autumnal pumpkin. Using a limited color palette, we will explore the following techniques: wet-on-wet, color wash layering, and straw painting. It is a class designed to give some basic watercolor knowledge as well as confidence with this medium. There is very minimal drawing required for this art piece and the course is best for beginner to intermediate students.
Watercolor Landscape Workshop
In this workshop, you will build upon the skills taught in previous class offerings. We will explore some new techniques and utilize previously acquired ones to create this beautiful sunlit waterscape. All materials will be provided.
